Great Yorkshire Bike Ride 2017 · 11 February 2017

The Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome Trust supports families affected by this rare genetic disorder by providing information in the form of newsletters, organising biennial national meetings, promoting awareness, funding research and grants, and forming links with support groups around the world.

Story

As some of you will know Oliver was born with a rare genetic condition. Oliver was not expected to achieve, achieve anything. He was expected to have several issues with his main organs, struggle to gain and maintain his weight and it was not expected that Oliver would talk or even walk.

Oliver turns 3 this month and he continues to defy the odds, going from strength to strength in all that he does.

Oliver is lucky enough to have two mummies and a super supportive family and friends network. Oliver is pushed in every which way possible to make sure he beats all the odds.

On the 17th June 2017 i will be taking part in the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride raising money in Oliver's Name for The Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome Trust.

The Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome Trust supports children and families affected by Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome by providing advice, producing newsletters, awarding financial grants and organising national and regional meetings, and seeks to promote awareness and understanding of this rare genetic condition by providing information to the wider community and funding research.
