Myself and my six year old Daughter will be cutting our long hair, short in order to donate at least 12 inches of hair each, to the Little Princess Trust who provide free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. 

We are planning to undertake the cut and donate the hair in April 2021. The Little Princess Trust encourage at least 12inches to be donated... Penelope currently has 14 inches to donate- I have 12,  therefore the minimum donation of hair we donate will be 26inches in total!! 

Those who know me know that I have a 'small' fear of having my hair cut, I would rather attend the dentist appointments than the hairdressers... so this is quite a big deal, albeit for an amazing cause. I will be raising money as part of a team- Employer Engagement Team at West Suffolk College. Thank you to all those to take the time to look at, share and donate to our page. 

Here's a little on how this cause has come so close to our hearts...

Our friend and colleague‘s 9 year old daughter has Leukaemia, she was only diagnosed 3 months ago and I know that it’s been really tough for the family as you can imagine. They know that we are all there for them both.

We are going to complete fundraising activities for a year to raise as much as we can for Leukaemia Care and do what little we can to support a great cause. I have included below a little more detail for what they do:

"We not only support patients, but carers and families too who can often carry a lot of the emotional strain when someone they love is diagnosed with a blood cancer.
We focus on the support that is needed now to help those affected by blood cancer cope during a diagnosis and beyond."

We would like to help and support Tori and Eva and others going through this and hope that you'll support us with all we have planned!!
