Grandad Sykes (Jack) was, and is, loved by so many people. Many still talk about his fantastic sense of humour, his warm heart and the endless love he had for his family. 

He received exceptional care from those at Sam Beare Hospice in 2016 when his life sadly came to an end. They treated him and us with such kindness and made what was a very upsetting time more comfortable in so many ways. 

My sister has previously run the London marathon for another deserving charity close to.our hearts and I cannot think of a better way to raise money for this brilliant cause.

I hope with your help, we can together make people's last days in this world more bearable for those leaving and those that are left behind.
