We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

Our friend Dan passed away on 28th April 2019, aged 20.

A group of Dan's friends will be running Tough Mudder 5K on Saturday July 6th on the Clifton Downs, Bristol. Feel free to come and cheer us on; we will be wearing 'Where's Wally' costumes (Dan's Halloween Costume from last year), so spot us if you can!

We are raising money for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.

Every donation makes a valuable difference to the work PAPYRUS does in supporting young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in tough times. Here's how your money helps:

£5 can help pay for one text or email conversation from a young person in need to HOPELINEUK

£20 enables a young person in distress to speak to a HOPELINEUK advisor and discuss their thoughts of suicide and help them to stay safe

£65 can keep our helpline, text and email services running for over one hour.

£165 covers the cost of training someone ASIST, which is a two day course that prepares caregivers to provide suicide first aid interventions.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
