Story
Everyone knows someone who has suffered from a mental health condition, even if they don't know it. I'm no exception. My experiences have shown me how important it is to talk and reach out for help yet still thousands of men take their lives every year and not enough people are talking about it.
I wouldn't be here today without the support I have received over the years and I want the world to know that someone is always there to listen, to help and together we can overcome the epidemic of suicide. Running has been a massive support to my own health but this will be a huge challenge and your support will be so greatly appreciated. CALM is a charity very close to my heart and I truly believe the work they do is vitally important. Nobody is in this alone.
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Through our life-saving services and campaigns that drive cultural change, we work with people to push for a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family, and, well, everyone.CALMs helpline and webchat services directly prevented 675 suicides in 2018.OUR SERVICES:> Webchat and helpline (0800 58 58 58) from 5pm - midnight every day.
