Malala Fund is working for a world where all girls can learn and lead without fear. Malala and Ziauddin Yousafzai founded Malala Fund in 2013 to champion every girl’s right to 12 years of free, safe, quality education.

Story

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" - Nelson Mandela

I want to raise money for a global issue which is close to my heart. In the UK children, including myself, are lucky and privileged to the right to education. However many are not as lucky and are born into unequal societies, where in particular, young girls do not have access to basic human rights. To me this seems unfair as every child has potential and should be treated equally, starting with the right to education as a main priority.

With more than 130 million girls out of school today, the Malala fund, led by Malala Yousafzai is focused on helping girls go to school and raise their voices for the right education. Founded in 2013 the Malala fund champions every girl's rights to 12 years of free, safe quality education.

This why I have decided to go up Snowdon and raise money for this charity.
