Andy began feeling off-balance in March 2017, at the end of May he was diagnosed with sporadic CJD, a fatal disease with no known cause or cure, we lost him in July 2017.

The Cure CJD Campaign was launched with the sole aim of raising money to progress PRN100, an unlicensed antibody, to human trials; it had been in the pipeline for many years but lacked funding to progress further. Over £200,000 was raised and the trials began in October 2018, we await their findings. The Campaign receive no government funding and need to raise a staggering £5 million in order to carry out more trials of this drug - every donation will help achieve this goal.
