Shelter from the Storm is London's only free homeless shelter. Located in north London, we operate seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, providing in excess of 13,250 bed, breakfast and overnight accommodation places and we don’t get a penny from the government. Story

Hello Everyone

On December the 16th me and two close friends are off to climb Aconcagua, one of the highest mountains in the world. Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside Asia, at 6,960.8 metres, and by extension the highest point in both the Western Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.

I would like your help to support a charity which I admire so much and is sadly needed.

Shelter from the Storm is a completely free emergency night shelter providing bed, dinner and breakfast for 42 homeless people every night of the year.

I visited Sheila and the team a few weeks ago to talk to them about my plan to raise money, I was overwhelmed by the work they do and the love they give to people in need of help. They  are making a real difference to the lives of people who need it the most and are often forgotten about. Check them out here...
