The news from Turkey and Syria this week has been heartbreaking. Thousands of people have lost their lives already and thousands of children have been forced out of their homes in freezing weather, without shelter. These children and their families need urgent help. 

Tomorrow, Friday the 10th, I've set myself a goal of walking 60,000 steps, just over the distance of a marathon. 

I will aim to walk for a few hours very early in the morning, take all my internal Teams calls during the day on the move and walk in the evening until I reach my 60,000 step goal.

I'm very aware you receive a lot of sponsorship requests but if you can spare say the cost of a coffee, I would be very grateful.

Any contribution will make a big difference and help Save the Children with their work at such a critical time. 

I will post a few updates on this page tomorrow and look forward to talking to some of you on Teams during the day!
