A corporate charity partnership raising £1m for Barnardo’s. Allianz are proud to be supporting the UK’s largest children’s charity.

Story

In 2019, I faced the toughest challenge of my life: cancer. But in 2020, I conquered it, emerging stronger and more determined than ever. Since then, I've dedicated myself to giving back, setting physical challenges each year to raise funds for those in need.

From running the Bath Half for MacMillan Cancer Support in 2022 to completing the Brighton Marathon for Bowel Cancer UK in 2023, I've been part of efforts to raise over £10,000 for various charities.

This year, along with some colleagues, I'm diving into the English Channel, swimming over 20 miles in relay to support Barnardo's Children's Charity.

This challenge holds a special place in my heart. Swimming has been my passion since I was 7, propelling me to national level success as a teenager and now it's time to harness that passion for a cause greater than myself.

But this challenge isn't just about us. It's about the collective effort to make a difference. That's why I'm proud to announce that Allianz, as part of their sponsorship of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, is raising over £100,000 through the "Path to Paris Fundraising Relay." Colleagues from all over the UK are engaging in challenges to support Barnardo’s.

So, join us as we take on the Channel, not for glory, but for a cause that truly matters. Together, we can create brighter futures for the children who need it most.

Thank you for your support.

Warm regards,

Danny
