Story
We are Anna, Mark, Darron and Danny and we make up Dannys Fault Channel Swim Relay Team.
Swimming 21 miles between 4 people doesn't seem that big a deal, but factor in water temperatures between 15-18 degrees, the worlds busiest shipping lane, average swells of 1.5m and jellyfish with only a swim cap and minimal trunk/costume for protection and it becomes a little more daunting!
We are swimming the channel to raise money for:
The Stroke Association, Cancer Research, Ikamva Youth Project, RASASC, The Highland Hospice and Dinnington Resource Centre.
When we have completed our challenge we will divide up equally all the money raised via this Just Giving Page, so you can be assured that your donation will go to help all 6 very worth while Charities.
The Stroke Association - Working for a world where there are fewer strokes and all those touched by stroke get the help they need. www.stroke.org.uk/
Cancer Research UK - Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Thanks to our groundbreaking work more people are beating cancer than ever before. www.cancerresearchuk.org/
