Dan’s 24 Hour ‘Le Mans’ Bike Ride 26th/27th June 2021 

I will be taking part in this event this year which runs over 24 hours (midday Saturday to midday Sunday) a circular route around the villages of North Wiltshire.
The 24 Hour ‘Le Mans’ Bike Ride is an annual event organised by the Crudwell Village Hall fundraising committee. It started in 1990 to raise funds for the construction of the Village Hall & since then has continued to provide funds not only for the maintenance & improvement of the hall, but also for charities nominated by the competing teams.
Teams have riders riding a relay format (one rider at a time from each team) to see who can raise the most sponsorship & who can complete the most laps within the 24 hour time period.
The team I am apart of ‘Keep on Rolling’ of which two riders are on hand Bikes & will be raising funds for Experience Community of which a donation will be made. www.experiencecommunity.co.uk

I on the other hand will be raising money for The Open Door Centre Charity in Swindon, TSB Local Charity Partner.
The Open Door Centre exists to make a positive difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, enabling our members to achieve their highest potential. We do this by providing a range of activities within a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment, and members are involved in every level of decision making about the running of the Centre. Members are encouraged to be independent adults, understanding their rights and choices, in order to become respected, confident, valued members of society. www.theopendoorcentre.co.uk
