Dan's "Triple Crown for Reuben"

Dan's Triple Crown for Reuben · 9 April 2013
Thanks for visiting my page. Between June and September 2013 I will complete the following three events as part of Dan’s “Triple Crown for Reuben”:
> 20th-23rd June - London2Paris - 3 days, 520 km > TICK
> 4th Aug - RideLondon100 - 1 day, 100 miles > TICK #2!> 21st Sep - London2Brighton Offroad - 1 day, 75 miles > One final big TICK!
Stage one London2Paris was completed over 3 days in June and on August 4th I joined 16,000 others in completing 100 miles from the Olympic Park to the Mall via the hills of Surrey. I finished in just under 5.5 hours. The final leg was a great mixture of fun and pain to complete 75 miles off road to Brighton. My time was 6hrs 44mins and I was one of the first 30 or so to finish. Thanks for all your support.
Reuben’s Retreat was born in memory of Reuben Michael Graham who tragically passed away aged just 23 months. He suffered from a very rare and aggressive form of cancer – only 4 or 5 cases occur in the UK every year. Despite their devastating grief his brave and inspirational parents set up a charity in his name. They plan to have a retreat for children with life limiting and threatening illnesses, with a support and bereavement centre for parents and children who have lost their precious siblings.
