Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In December 2017 I will be "Walking Home For Christmas". It is a concept that Prince Harry came up with in 2010.

So for this Challenge I will be walking from where I currently live/work in Northern France to my hometown of Blackburn. The walk will take me over 350+ miles of British towns and cities. I plan on returning home just before Christmas Eve if all goes to plan.

I have chosen to raise money for Combat Stress as I have had first hand experience of what the charity can do for military personnel and veterans like myself. I did suffer with depression and PTSD when I left the military in 2012 and with the help of Combat Stress and my current outlook on life I have become a lot happier.

My aim is to raise £635, which is £1 per military personnel that has lost their life in Iraq & Afghanistan.

I would like to urge you all to donate whatever you can, however big or small. It all makes a big impact on helping change military and veterans lives.

I would like to thank you all for your help and support and wish me luck.
