The horrifying statistic above was reported by homeless charity Shelter in Dec 2019. Since then, the problem has gotten far worse.

In 2020, Covid-19 has driven unemployment, underemployment, poverty, inequality, domestic violence, mental health problems and many more social problems contributing to homelessness through the roof.
