Cancer's an awful thing. It takes away so much, not just from your health but from your finances, your confidence and your mental well being.

I've never personally had my life affected by cancer, but I do know people that have and I've seen the damage that it can cause. I've also seen firsthand the good that Macmillan do for those affected, be it help with the costs for treatment or just a friendly voice at the end of the telephone. Macmillan's funding is almost exclusively reliant on donations and without it they simply wouldn't exist to help so many that have suffered with cancer.

That's why I'm doing this gaming marathon. Twitch is a fantastic platform for reaching out to people and helping to spread the word about many things, this charity included. Every pound you give is one step closer to the goal, and if you can't give then just spreading the word on Facebook and Twitter will reach out and make people aware of what's going on!
