Story

Want to join us in making a difference for those in need? The NLBF (North Liverpool Business Forum) is raising money to aid St Joseph's Hospice Association by taking part in a bike ride fundraiser on the 3rd of July 2022 at 12:00. You can also take part at this link: http://www.stjhospice.org.uk/Any donation sent will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to us here at the NLBF.

St Joseph’s Hospice is one of the oldest hospices in the country, providing care and support to terminally ill individuals and their families from within the Liverpool and Sefton areas. Founded by Farther Francis O'Leary, a missionary priest, St Joseph's Hospice began in South America and Pakistan in the 1960's.

In 1974 the UK St Joseph's Hospice opened in Thornton, near Crosby, Father O'Leary's legacy was to provide love and compassionate care to people of any faith and those without faith in the last weeks of their lives. So if you can spare anything please donate, as even a little can go a long way.

Each of our cyclists will be taking on their own personal challenge, from a 5 mile tunnel ride, to 100 mile route. The pandemic has hit the hospice hard, and this event will help us raise vital funds so we can continue to care for people with life limiting illness in our community.
