Story

The 2.6 challenge is a new campaign which has been launched to save the UK's charities. The Coronavirus Pandemic is causing acute challenges for charities due to the loss of income from fundraising events, at a time when many charity's services have never been needed more. I want to help tackle this and support the Fragile X Society.

The Fragile X Society supports those with Fragile X: a family of inherited genetic conditions. Many in the Fragile X community are feeling the effects of the pandemic particularly acutely, due to the lack of essential services and supports. In addition, for people with Fragile X Syndrome (the most common inherited cause of learning disability) the change of routine is causing particular challenges and high anxiety.

I know the importance of this specialist service and want to help it to be able to continue through this pandemic and beyond. If you are able to do so, I would really appreciate your help.

I am going to spend 26 hours in my tent in my garden to raise money for The Fragile X Society. Please support me! :)))))
