British-Ukrainian Aid supports people in any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in particular by the supply of medical aid to such persons and organisations caring for them.

Story

I saw the sad news about Ukraine and I was inspired to do something to help because there were so many kids and families being torn apart by the war.So me and my Dad decided to train for a 1.2 mile swim to raise money to help them.I was so determined to do it because although it was going to be hard it was never going to be as hard as living in the Ukraine right now.I went to the swimming pool to start to practice and I knew it would be hard, but as I started to practice length after length I thought If I try really hard I can smash my goal, right here, right now.And I did! I swam 70 lengths in 1 hour 35 minutes on Sunday 6th of March, which is a total of 1.2 miles -thats like swimming from Buckingham Palace to The London Eye! My arms hurt in school today and I was a bit tired but I did it for Ukraine!
