Story

'Dare We?' is an original song, adapted from the musical, Freckles.  The link above is to a shortened version - the full version is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxuHrrhEIx0&feature=youtu.be

In 'Dare We?' 2020, our choir has come together in memory of Amged El-Hawrani, one of the first senior medics to die from COVID-19, and to support the ongoing amazing work of NHS staff.

Amged's nephew, Ammar, performed in the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe version of Freckles. Now he performs in this 2020 version of the song, along with other talented youth and past cast of the show, originally from Bath.

The music was composed by Matt Finch and Mel Lawman is the lyricist.  The video was produced by Lara Lawman, with audio editing by Matt Finch and video editing by Lucas Lawman and Lara Lawman.
