Kiltwalk Aberdeen 2018 · 3 June 2018 ·

At Spinal Injuries Scotland we support those coming to terms with a spinal injury. Inform those living with spinal injury and influence decision-makers to shape the world for those with spinal injury.

Story

We are doing this walk to raise funds for Spinal Injuries Scotland as we both have children that have had spinal injuries through different accidents. My son Craig had a RTA and has been left paraplegic but with the support he has got back to work and living independently. Jacqui's daughter, Fenella had a riding accident and has had 2 spinal operations and has worked hard and is back riding her horses to a top level.  Craig was in Southern General Hospital, Glasgow for 6 months and the SiS were so helpful and full of advice and still continue to offer that support. They really provide a fantastic support to people with Spinal injuries.
