So what am I doing?

Its a 196 mile, 3 day, mountain bike ride from Whitehaven in Cumbria on the West coast to Scarborough on the East Coast. We'll be crossing the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. Not exactly the flatest places you find! For more details on the event click here 

 

Why?

I fancied a cycling challenge and thought this one might be worth a bash. Seconds thoughts? Yeah sometimes. Its certainly going to be a tough event to complete.

For charity?

Yes. I'll be raising money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Lewis Barry, a member of my family and a talented cyclist, tragically died in his sleep a couple of years ago from an undiagnosed cardiac condition at the age of just 15. Lewis Barry
