Darrel and I have signed up to run (i use that term very lightly) the London Marathon 2013. Firstly we want to thank you for visiting our page and hopefully our words have inspired you to donate! 

Neither of us have ever attempted to run a marathon before and our excitement is filled with fear and intrepidation. We cant stress how much your support will help motivate us and we will be keeping you all updated on our progress (Bleeding nipples and all)

As i write this introduction Darrel has already been struck down with a case of runners knee so is laid up for a bit - it really brings in to focus the mamoth task that lies ahead.

We also want to bring to your attention the charity who have very kindly decided to let us both run for them. Alone in London is a charity that was set up in 1972 to support young people who find themselves in the awful situation of being without a home. They offer support, councelling and practical skills to help those who are less fortunate to get back on their feet and create a brighter future for themselves.
