Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 19th Sept myself my dad Kevin and two brothers Lee and Carl are going to be running the Great North Run (Half Marathon) to help raise money and awareness for the Candlelighters Trust.

Candlelighters are a Yorkshire based charity dedicated to helping support children with cancer or other serious blood disorders, and their families, whilst at the same time promoting research into childhood cancer.

We have chosen to raise money for the Candlelighters Trust  because my nephew George (Lee's son) was diagnosed with cancer at just 10 months old and over the past 6 months the work and support of the Candlelighters has been invaluable to my brothers family.  We'd just like to give something back!
