The reasoning over my chosen charity is a simple one...

Meningitis nearly killed me almost 30 years ago now and I'd like the opportunity to show that some of us lucky survivors can, and do, go on to lead a normal, healthy life.

However, I'm in the minority of cases here, so if I can help out the Meningitis Research Foundation, by way of their advances in increasing the numbers of children (and adults) who make a full recovery, then maybe this world can be a little better...
