Chuf's mission is to make life better for children and young people who are born with or who develop heart conditions by providing lifelong support to them and their families. Chuf supports children who receive treatment at Freeman Hospital and many other hospitals throughout the North of England.

Story

CHUFs mission is to make life better for children and young people who are born with or develop heart conditions by providing lifelong support to them and their families.

As many of you know our friends Sam and Gaz have a son named James who is now 11. When he was a few days old James’ heart stopped and he was rushed to Newcastle RVI for emergency open heart surgery. Further surgery has followed and James will need treatment for the rest of his life with the likelihood of more heart surgery in the future.

Despite his difficulties James has not let anything hold him back something which he proved this year by gaining his black belt in karate.

Throughout his journey CHUF have supported the family and we would like to raise some money to thank them and allow them to continue to support families and individuals.
