Darren's Burhnam On Crouch to Berwick Upon Tweed Covid19 Lock down ride

Burhnam On Crouch to Berwick Upon Tweed Covid19 Lock down ride · 24 March 2020
I’ve set myself the challenge of (virtually) riding to all the RNLI lifeboat stations along the east coast of England during the Covid19 lock down. That is the 36 RNLI lifeboat stations from Burnham On Crouch in Essex to Berwick Upon Tweed on the Scottish border. That equates to 686 miles.
I started on the 23rd March and so far I’ve done 396 miles which puts me between Cleethorpes and Humber stations. My aim is that I will reach Berwick Upon Tweed by 7th May.
Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe. RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.Thank you.
