It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

In 2012 we saw two of our close friends loose their Mum to Pancreatic Cancer at the young age of 53. We have seen how heartbreaking it has been for the whole Green family to loose such a loved mother and wife. We aim to raise as much as we can for this charity which has a survival rate of just 3% and receives only 1% funding from all other cancer charities so that we can hopefully aid research to change these statistics.

Lap The Lough is a not-for-profit cycle event that encourages participation right across the community.  The event aims:
1. to encourage as many cyclists to do 1 lap of Lough Neagh on Sunday 24th August.
2. to create a high-profile fundraising vehicle so individuals can, if they wish, raise money for their charities and groups. The event is used by local groups, individuals and charities to raise vital funds.
The route is mapped at approx.140km or 85 miles.

Many Thanks
Garreth Wright, David Reid, Christopher Sloan, Craig Johnston & Darren McMillan.
