Story
Anthony Nolan is a pioneering charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Every day, Anthony Nolan matches incredible individuals willing to donate stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplant.
For the people who knows me, know I am no runner. To offer support to my niece Bethan Morgan I am going to run the London marathon next April 😯 to help raise awareness to become a bone marrow doner.
In December Bethan took her 6 month baby boy to the doctors with a swelling under his eye. Within hours Bethan was told her baby Harri Stickler had Leukaemia 😥 Harri needed intense chemotherapy before a search and a match was found for a bone marrow transplant in April this year. Harri is responding well after being kept in isolation and is now home recovering with his family.
For me to do this will be a huge challenge as I only started running a few months ago. If you could support this charity would be greatly appreciated and would mean so much more to Bethan to help raise awareness on becoming a doner.
