NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

Hi my name is Darrensaurus-Rex 🦖

I plan to run a socially-distant marathon in my inflatable dinosaur 🦕 suit this week. Over the course of 4 days (Thursday-Sunday), due to exercising restrictions of 1 hour each day, I am aiming to run for around 6.5 miles in each hour.

The aim is to complete this challenge at Arrow Valley Lake in Redditch which is a 1.5 miles loop, and I will run laps of this due to the lack of visibility in the suit. Plus, the footpaths are nice and wide so I shouldn’t fall over!

My biggest fear is that the batteries run out on the fan in the suit and I deflate!

If you see give me me a cheer and a clap from your safe social distance, I will try and wave back with my tiny dinosaur arms!

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, Please sponsor me and support our NHS. 🦖🦕🤘🏻
