Cavendish Cancer Care is a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer. No one should face cancer alone, so we provide emotional support through counselling and complementary therapies. Our services are provided free of charge and are funded through donations.

Story

I thought it was about time I dusted off the lycra, sucked my tummy in and squeezed into the wetsuit again.

On 2nd August I will be competing in Ironman UK, a 140.6 mile event that consists of a 2.4mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride followed by a marathon. I think after the Diabetes this is the biggest challenge I will have faced - I suppose in my head this is about taking on Diabetes in a personal challenge.

If you would like to support me I will be raising money for a Cancer charity called the Cavendish Centrethey help people to adjust , cope with and ease the impact of living with cancer.  They aim to improve the quality of local people's lives and enrich the emotional wellbeing of people touched by cancer.

Thanks once again for your support.
