Both myself and Karim are running the Newport 10K tomorrow (24/10/21), in memory of Lauren, Hannah and Lucy’s dad, Joel, who passed away a year ago this week from complications relates to APS.

All of the donations will go towards supporting people affected by APS through awareness, education and research.

APS is a significantly under-recognised and under-diagnosed condition and that’s why donating to APS SUPPORT UK is so important in raising awareness, achieving earlier diagnosis, learning more about the condition and potentially saving lives.

Although APS is now estimated to affect around 1 in 100 of the population, because it is relatively new in medical terms, much research still needs to be carried out so we can learn more about the causes, effects and treatments for the condition; one thing we do know is that early diagnosis of APS is crucial.
