David Juckes' Fund is a Special Named Fund at CCLG raising funds for research into peripheral T-cell lymphoma.

Story

Helen and John Juckes lost their eldest son David to a rare form of cancer (Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma) in October 2021.  Helen used to sing and play keys in our band 'Midlife Crisis', a precursor to 'the Remnants'. I attended David's funeral and was touched by the family's courage and resilience at such a difficult time - and I vowed that I would do something positive in memory of David so this is it!  I am cycling 70 miles in the Tour of Cambridgeshire bike ride on 12 June and, as part of my training, will commit to rowing 100 miles (161km) on my indoor Concept 2 before the ride. All the money raised will go to the CCLG for T-cell Lymphoma research.  Remember to gift aid if you can, which increases your donation and diverts Government money towards something useful!
