Hi Guys and thank you for visiting my justgiving page. You are here to donate right? Super!! Before making a donation to this great cause, let me tell you why i am taking part In UWCB for Cancer Research.
Im Dave for all those who dont know me , i have always wanted to be apart of and raise money for Cancer Reaserch because unfortuanltly like many of people have lost friends and family to Cancer. This terrible disease has taken countless lives from all over the UK for far to long. It will continue to do so if we dont act to support what Cancer Research UK is trying to achieve, to beat cancer sooner. I am taking on 8 Weeks of Boxing training to prepare me for a White Collar Boxing Event on the 9th June 2018, Tickets are £20 per person ( Over 18s Only). Weather you are here to donate because you have lost a loved one to Cancer or just here to do something amazing, all size donations are welcome big or small! All Donations go straight to Cancer Research Uk.
Thank You! Let's Beat Cancer Together!
How Donations Help Save Lives:
£10 buys a new bulb for microscpes to illuminate new ways to beat cancer.
£50 buys a scientific sieve to seperate out big bits of DNA to reveal vital clues about how to beat cancer.
£120 protects Cancer Research UK's superhero scientists from dangerous biohazards as they battle against cancer in specialized laboratories.
£220 buys tiny glowing particles that illuminate cells like fluorescent beacons for scientists studying cancer at a miniscule level.
£400 is the cost of running Cancer Chat for 1 day, helping thousands of people through very difficult times. Cancer Chat is a moderated discussion forum run by Cancer Research UK. It's a safe online space open to anyone to discuss any aspect of the disease, from symptoms and treatment, to living with cancer.
£1000 kits out a fresh-faced PhD student with the essentials they need to get started in their fight agaisnt cancer, helping us train the researchers of tomorrow.
£2000 buys a diamond knife for slicing through cells to understand the inner workings of tumours and find new ways to target cancer's weak spots.
£10000 covers the cost of a lung cancer clinical trial for one year, aiming to find out if radiotherapy will pack more of a punch to cancer cells and stop the disease coming back after surgery, improving treatments for patients with lung cancer.
