Thanks very much for supporting my fundraising towards Macmillan Cancer Support. In March 2017, Carol was diagnosed with Stage 3b Ovarian cancer. This was a great shock, but Carol bravely endured over 3 years intensive chemo & other treatments. We still had many good times, Carol remained very active, walking, cycling, playing/ organising tennis events and enjoying all her family & friends. But, there were many times we both really needed help & support from Macmillan Cancer Support, they were truly wonderful!

In addition, I would like to raise awareness for the need of screening for Ovarian cancer. Without screening, Ovarian cancer often goes unnoticed, until it is too late! Finally, I would like to thank all the NHS Oncology staff at the Bexley Wing, St James's Hospital, Wheatfield's Hospice, the Local District Nurses & the Chevin Medical Practice.
