At the end of June this year I took ill and was diagnosed with cough syncope. I hadn’t heard of it before then. It basically means when I cough it can cause me to black out. They’re not sure if I’ll have this forever or if I will recover. Bit unfortunate for a bus driver as I will probably lose my licence for up to 5 years. I’d like raise awareness and money for their charity ‘Stars’ so I’ve decided this year to run The Great North Run for them.
