I'm carrying out this challenge to climb Kilimanjaro which is technically into the death zone (above 15,000ft) in memory of a friend who recently died of cancer aged only 39. Macmillan Cancer Relief provided him with excellent support and gave him dignity.

I need to raise a minimum of £2,000 by 18th September to allow me to take part, with remainder due thereafter.
