We work to raise awareness of the dangers of coercive control and stalking, particularly among young people and their support networks. We also work with the police and other professionals to bring about lasting improvements in the management of perpetrators and the protection of victims.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

I am losing 24lbs in the first half of 2021 to help raise awareness of stalking and help raise money for the Alice Ruggles Trust, so together we can prevent this happening to anyone else and put an end to stalking and coercive behaviour.

I am Alice's uncle and this is my way to support the Alice Ruggles Trust - Challenge 24 (Alice Ruggles Trust - post), and to remember Alice who was 24 when she was murdered by a stalker in 2016.

My aim is to get at least 24 friends to sponsor me, any amount is a great donation and I know its been a tough years. Thanks

My strategy is to "Move more, Eat less" by running everyday in January and then running 24 miles each week until I have lost 24 lbs, which takes me to 14 stone. I'll also be cutting down on beer (a bit).

Update, at the end of March my weight loss had slowed so I've adjusted my strategy and I'm now running 20 miles per week and alternating with intensive weight training (as its supposed to be better for weight loss), I've lost an additional 2 lbs in a few weeks of this, so heading in the right direction but need to catch up a little.

Thanks so much for your support.
