Covering 50,000 Km and raising £50,000 for essential research into Parkinson's Disease.

Story

For 7 days in May (Sat 1st - Fri 7th) I am aiming to exercise for 1 hour a day (and maybe a bit more) to see how far I can go!

All in aid of the terrific Parkinson's Disease research that takes place at the University of Sheffield.

The keepy uppy challenge last year was amazing and I was so grateful for all the support received.

Please support me again this year and help our researchers get closer to finally finding therapies that slow this horrible disease!

Together with the rest of the Big Week community, I’ll be contributing to a 50,000km movement target. We’ve chosen this target because it’s now been more than 50 years since the last big breakthrough in Parkinson’s research - a statistic with your support, we hope can change.

I'll keep you updated on my challenge via Facebook and Twitter @d_meadows
