We are the national charity for anyone affected by mesothelioma. A preventable cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Your generous donations allow us to support people with mesothelioma to live better, longer and to prevent mesothelioma happening to future generations.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Father, Norman, was diagnosed with Mesothelioma (lung cancer) in 2008, attributed to exposure to Asbestos in the 1950's when he was manufacturing ships in Chatham Dockyard.  He passed away on the 10th June 2010.  I felt it was a fitting tribute to him to raise funds for Mesothelioma UK in his name and help highlight the extent that this disease affects its sufferers and their families.

So please dig deep and donate now.

***Post Ride Update***

Both of us completed the 60 mile course in around 3h54m, with only 3 short stops to refuel.  Thank you to everyone that sponsored us, your generosity will help the charity reach its goals.
