Grow a Tash to raise awareness Testicular Cancer and help fundraise too. It's in the Tash takes place during November to raise money for It's in the Bag who support men with Testicular Cancer. SUPPORT - AWARENESS - SURVIVAL

Story

A colleague of mine was diagnosed with Testicular cancer 2 years ago. He was really well supported by Its in the Bag.

I love running and dodgy facial hair but having been injured most of this year, 30 miles is looking a blooming long way.

If you are have testicles then please check them out, that's the most important thing. If you have a few bib spare then please donate, but checking your sack is more important.

Grow a Tash for Its in the Bag Cancer Support It's in the Bag is a charity providing support for men with testicular cancer in the South West. It is run by a group of testicular cancer survivors with support from specialist NHS staff. It provides social events, courses and information. They have three aims: to offer support both to men and their families from diagnosis to survival, and the healthcare professional teams looking after them; to raise awareness of the disease with the aim to save lives; and survival. Testicular cancer (germ cell) is 98% curable and the charity also offers volunteering opportunities.

It’s in the Bag is run by a group of survivors with support from specialist NHS staff and provide hands-on support for men with testicular cancer (germ cell) in the South-West. We have three simple aims: Support: Being diagnosed with testicular cancer and going through treatment is a huge challenge – physically, mentally and emotionally. We provide a range of activities and initiatives to help men through this tough time. Awareness: We teach men the importance of checking their balls regularly and taking any issues straight to their GP. Spreading this knowledge promotes earlier diagnosis, which often means simpler, more effective treatment and better chances of a cure. Survival: With UK cure rates for testicular cancer running above 98%, we focus on survival helping guys tackle the emotional and practical impact of cancer, both during treatment and into their lives after.
