This September I am hoping to raise €10,000 for Laura Lynn by completing the almost 1,000km* cycle from Paris to Nice over six days.   100% of all donations will go directly to Laura Lynn and I pledge to match all donations personally so every €100 you donate becomes €200!! I served on the Board of LauraLynn for nine years and for a number of years as Chairman so I know first hand the incredible service which Lauralynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice provides to children and their families.   With a focus on enhancing quality of life, LauraLynn provides support from diagnosis, to end of life, and throughout bereavement with a range of practical, emotional and medical care for the whole family.  LauraLynn requires €4.68M to deliver its hospice care and develop its LauraLynn@HOME programme bringing palliative care into the comfort of children’s own homes. www.lauralynn.ie

I am relatively new to cycling so this is something of a daunting challenge.  I have been training for the event for three months now.  It's not so long since I thought 10kms was a long cycle and now I'm enjoying 100kms on a Sunday morning.
