Cancer seems to be one of those things that happens to other families not your own.

Recently two very close family members were diagnosed with cancer within weeks of each other. They are married and have been together for the best part of 50 years having met in their early teens. This has caused much pain to our family and we are powerless to do anything to help. This however, is something positive that I can do.

I am not the athletic type so my plan is to first run 5k then enter a 10k race (my first) in late april finally aiming to complete the 13mile Cardiff Half Marathon in October. Please support me in this great cause.
