Go Dharmic Salt Ride · 17 December 2019 to 22 December 2019 ·

Our team will cycle 375 miles, along the route that Mahatma Gandhi and his followers took from Ahmedabad to Dandi, known as The Salt March. We will cycle this route to make a stand for our planet and raise funds for Go Dharmic and its campaigns.

Story

The Salt March, also known as the Dandi March or the Salt Satyagraha, began on March 12, 1930, near Gandhis retreat in Sabarmati Ashram, and proceeded some 240 miles southward over 24 days toward the coastal village of Dandi. We will be cycling from 40 to 90 km per day over 6b days, and will stop off at some of the most historic locations to rest and spread the Go Dharmic message. We will be promoting our message which is making changes in one's lifestyle and habits in order to help save our planet! One of Go Dharmic's most recent campaigns is 'Give it a Grow' where they are funding tree planting worldwide, as well as planning to plant their own trees in the near future. They also encourage people to use less single-use plastics, as the negative impacts of this are becoming increasingly noticeable. All money raised will go towards Go Dharmic making a stand for the planet, and contribute to their other campaigns, for more information please visit their website https://godharmic.com/
