I got involved with raising funds for charity after my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have raised money through holding quiz nights, themed party nights, auctions, country shows, black tie dinners and now running. Over the past 6 years I have raised in excess of £50,000 for various charities including Breast Cancer Care, Macmillan, Yorkshire air Ambulance, Diabetes UK, and Snappy. But funds are always needed and at this moment in time I am concentrating on raising money for Snappy.
