On the 30th March 2011 my brother in law, Colin Burrows, lost his battle with a brain tumor. My sister lost her husband and Ed and Jo lost their Dad. I ran the Stratford marathon just a few weeks after Colin died in aid of Headcase. My sister and my family were there, which as you can imagine was very emotional. With everyones generosity and with my employers aprox £6000 was raised for headcase.

I have decided to do it all again and this time I am running the London marathon on the 21st April. The training has been tough, coupled with injuries. However I am back on track due to the help and support of my amazing training partners, Aly and Jess. We are running the marathon together and the aim is just to finish and enjoy it but most of all raise much needed funds for Headcase.

Anything you can donate will be much appreciated. The first £700 raised will be matched by my employers so please dig deep. I have got into the marathon via the ballot so every penny donated will go to the charity.
