Friends of mine have a lovely wee man Harry who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, it is a cruel disease which needs vital funds to support those affected as well as fund research into finding a cure.  Because of this, I am challenging myself to complete the 'swimming marathon' of 10km open water in Buttermere in the Lake District on 10th September 2017.
