As a school community, Alva Academy raises awareness and vital funds for Macmillan every year.  Pupils, their families and the local community come together to undertake numerous events and, as such, have raised an astonishing £415,000 to date.  Myself, our Headteacher Scott and Depute Headteacher Nat will be hacking our way around a golf course from dawn til’ dusk whilst wearing our Macmillan T shirts with pride.  Please donate what you can as every charity is struggling in this current climate.
