David Coley's London to Paris bike ride for Action Medical Research

London to Paris 2022 · 20 July 2022 ·
Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page.
My granddaughter had a hole in her heart when she was born prematurely. She weighed just over 2lbs. The ground breaking early work of Action Medical Research no doubt helped save her life. After discharge from the premature babies unit at Ipswich Hospital, I could fit the whole of her body on just one hand
And here she is proudly wearing my London Marathon finishers medal, an event I have completed five times.
So ten pounds could help the life chances of these premature babies shown here.
That is why I am cycling to Paris so that I can raise sponsorship for this great charity
Please give generously.
Your donation will inspire me to train well.
Thank you.
Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you. Join our fight for little lives.
