Hi my name is Dave Collings! I am the installations director for Timberplay. On Sunday the 6^th June 2011 me and my bike will be setting off to cycle the entire coast of Great Britain unaided. I’ll be setting off on my own from my house in Sheffield heading East to the Humber Bridge, then proceeding North on coastal paths and roads. I’ll take with me only the minimal of supplies: Tent, sleeping bag and stove! After traveling a distance of roughly 4,000 miles I expect to return home in 6weeks, a la Mark Beaumont!

I hope to raise money for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice Charity, which provides palliative/respite care and emotional support to families of children with life limiting conditions within South Yorkshire, North Midlands and North East Derbyshire. It exists to enable families in this region to achieve a better quality of life. I consider myself to be fortunate as I have three healthy grown up children and I now wish to raise money for this wonderful and worthy cause.  Please acknowledge my effort and help to support this cause by giving generously.
